The showroom’s designer called three weeks before NEOCON, the annual showcase for office furniture, at the Merchandise Mart, Chicago.  Twenty seven pizzas later a shimmering expanse of DuPont’s newly developed Antron carpet fiber graced the showroom’s wall with delicate knots and plump pods.  An embossing interspersed with  highlights of plastic sheeting the piece took “Best Use of Product in a Showroom”….awarded by AIA and Design Magazine.
